Community Over Competition

Resentment (rooted in jealousy) is a natural human response. A natural human response that we have the choice of challenging when it rears its ugly head.

Resentment can be found when we focus on what we are lacking when others appear to be thriving. It’s easy to land here. It’s easy to stay here.

Choosing to remain in a place of resentment or jealousy however is choosing to remain in the mindset of ‘lacking’ vs the mindset of ‘abundance.’ 

Community over competition is the abundance mindset. It is understanding that someone else’s shine will NOT take my shine away. It’s understanding that there is space for us all to win, in our own unique ways. 

It means referring business to others. This means understanding that we can’t do it all alone, that we can meet the needs of our community BEST by understanding that there is strength in numbers. 

It also means that there is endless freedom to collaborate. This ensures that we as individuals and professionals are ever-evolving, growing, and expanding in our specific niche. 

And lastly, a foundation of relationships is at the very root of a strong community. Relationships will always come before opportunity. 

Abundance flows where community grows.
